This class is different from the private sessions because it covers specific topics required by the state. The private sessions are customized to each student. If you are looking for a private session please go back and choose the "Private Pistol" option. The following topics are for this SAFETY class:

• How to safely check a firearm to see if it's loaded 
• malfunctions
• the five golden rules of gun safety
• extra emphasis on awareness of finger and muzzle direction discipline
• basic gun handling, loading and unloading
• range etiquette (if not prohibited)
• where you can carry your firearm and prohibited places (if court ordered)
• state and federal laws (if court ordered)
• outside the home and carrying a firearm in public
• storage and transportation of firearms

• IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN FIREARM AND AMMO IT MUST BE INSIDE A GUN CASE AND YOU MUST SECURE IT IN YOUR CAR!  DO NOT BRING ANY AMMUNITION or GUNS INTO THE CLASSROOM. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE CLASSROOM WITHOUT REFUND.
